Founded in January 1993, Kingpound Law Firm (hereinafter referred to as “Kingpound”) is the earliest municipal partnership law firm in Guangzhou. In 1997, Kingpound was approved by the Ministry of Justice of China to be the first Chinese law firm to set up its representative office in Los Angeles, U.S.. In 2006, Kingpound moved its office to Zhujiang New Town and became the first large integrated law firm in Guangzhou to have presence in Guangzhou CBD. In 2015, Kingpound was restructured as the first batch of limited liability partnership law firms in Guangdong, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent booming development of Kingpound. Up to date, Kingpound is considered to be one of the largest law firms in Guangdong with nationwide influence .
